today Jehovah's Witnesses payed me a visist (and all the others living in my student hostel). funny because we're an evangelic (NOT evangelical) student's hostel... with quite a few students of theology. so I guess they might not have made any converts *snort* still they seemed happy to find people to talk to who actually KNOW the Bibel and talk about believe and theological theory regularly. must be quite different from the usual atheistic masses here in Vienna... though of course the majority of us are completely random students that just happen to live here and have nothing to do with religion whatsoever. still you get into discussions regularly ans somehow most just know what it's about at least superficially.

seconds before they were at my door. my bf who lives two doors farther called me and warned me that they would come a-knocking at my door too. I had time to consider posting my lovely "evertime you see a rainbow god is having gay sex" poster on my door, but alas when I wanted to check if there would be time to do so... I opend my door and they were already standing in front of it. pity. but they were nice and friendly and didn't recite too many biblical verses. they just read one to me. which was ok. I knew it anyways. (YES, I do know my Bible)
I declined with thanks the offer of their brochures regarding the meaning of life and thoughts about death.
and then they went on. I tired to warn Andi (who lives on the same floor) but alas, when he answered the phone they already were there...
yeah, it's that time of the year again...
