Oct. 15th, 2007 03:54 pmI'm practicing my writing again. or say for the first time - before I wrote for pure self-pleasure only. Still do. But not frequently and I want to. Because it is necessary and fun, if not in the beginning. The mood rises with routine and the spirit with skill.
my projects at the moment are:
"daily dialogue" which are VERY silly but still quite elaborate and sarcastic conversations that take place between fictional characters of books I read shows I watch and whatnot. This ist the most fun, because there is NO plot to be planned no character to be introduced just the pure fun of writing hilarious dialouges. They come so easily to mind, that I can simply write them here at my lj, though those posts are set on private. - They are both English and German and some even switch, if I'm lazy. Planning on perfecting this with having one character talk English and the other German? NOPE - It's impossible, because language doesn't work like that. but it's still a fun idea.
The other thing is the kitschy boys-love story I write taking turns with p. that I already mentioned somewhere. It's harder there is much plotting going on and it has to correspond with the things that p. wirtes. So we usually have to be sure about key-scenes and such. I love that story mostly because of it's lovely characters. And TEH DRAMA. ^^ But it takes it's toll. Best hours for writing this are between 3 and 6 am, yes A.M. I'm that kind of a freak. But it DOES work.
Then I should be writing USEFUL summaries of the books I read for university. Doesn't really work, cause
it's all hard work and no fun, so my laziness is killing this attempt at the moment.
And again I'm translating fanfic. The 6th and last chapter. Then I can start on a new one.
Why am I doing this? TRAINING!!! Because I'm a language-ninja! ...
