Summer holidays and such. Still looking for work. At least I did a lot of reading. Two books by Stephen Fry The Liar and The Hippopotamus - hilarious and really strange but that's to be expected. ^^ The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson (took me quite a while it's so looooong and quite taxing to read because of all the POV switches - sometimes in the middle of a sentence. It's quite mind fuck-y) speaking of mind fuck! I also read Mind Fuck by Manna Francis. I'm absolutely in love with that one. It's a dystopian gay BDSM hot mess of awesomeness. It's also available online HERE. It's the first book of the Administration Series. I bought the book and am thinking about buying the others. I also read the first five or so of her online short stories which continue the story of Mind Fuck. I highly recommend them ALL OF THEM. Of course only if you're into BDSM! ye be warned! ([livejournal.com profile] dicingalice this is a MUST READ for you :D)

On the health front I'm under attack from everlasting fatigue also feeling a little dizzy from time to time. Bought some iron pills but I'm not sure if that's all. Probably going to have my blood work checked sooner or later.

And yesterday I rediscovered that I made an lj community which I had completely forgotten. It's [livejournal.com profile] medieval_metal and it has no members save myself as of yet. So if you're into medieval metal, pagan folk or something similar FEEL FREE TO JOIN :D

i didn't think so either. :D

First of all, I love your icon. I'm rereading the chronicles right now and can't help being an (annoying) fangirl and just had to drop by and well, fangirl.

And "dystopian gay BDSM hot mess of awesomeness" sounds like something I want to know more about :)

:D thank you sadly I didn't make it myself. I just realised that I only have two VC icons! I don't mind the fangirling AT ALL. Actually, there can never be enough VC fangirling in times of sparkling lame ass vampires!

Then you should really, really start reading like NOW. What I liked most about her stories (ignoring the glorious sex for a moment) is the fact that her men are just that - men. not some strange kind of female in the guise of a male body. They are both "alpha males" for lack of a better word. They know what they're doing and don't get teary eyed all the time. - I've read too much Boys' Love manga so I'm really tierd of that type. Also the plot is quite entertaining :D

Well, I started reading and OH YEAH. I do love dystopias. And there might be something else interesting going on too.. *whistling innocently*

I had my tiny BL-stage, but does that stuff get boring so very quickly. I didn't even realise how much I'd grown past all of it before someone called me a yaoi-fan and I gave a lenghty (and improvised) speach about what is wrong with the genre and why I am not (anymore) a fan.
